Bradley Barcola is expected to fly to Liverpool on Saturday to complete a £120m move to Anfield after an agreement was struck with PSG.
The two clubs are working on the final details to ratify a transfer contract for the 23-year-old after a verbal agreement was reached over a fee worth £100m up front and £20m in add-ons.
Yesterday, David Ornstein reported for The Athletic: “The clubs agreed terms of the proposed deal overnight for a package around £120million (€140m) overall, of which over £100m is guaranteed.
“Negotiations are being handled by sporting director Richard Hughes and Fenway Sports Group president Mike Gordon, and important last details are being ironed out on Thursday morning.
“Nothing has been signed yet, and the deal is yet to be completed, but a potential transfer could have knock on effects for Cody Gakpo, who has been repeatedly linked to Tottenham Hotspur and has been the subject of interest from Manchester City this summer.”
Barcola set to fly to England on Saturday ahead of Liverpool medical and announcement
According to a report from L’Equipe journalist Loic Tanzi, Liverpool are on the verge of signing Barcola after months of talks with PSG, with the French forward set to fly to England tomorrow for a medical.
Tanzi writes: “Paris Saint-Germain striker Bradley Barcola is expected to pack his bags. The 23-year-old French international, set to join Liverpool – PSG and the Reds agreed on a transfer fee of around €140 million this Thursday – is expected to fly to England this Saturday, according to our sources.
“He could thus settle the final details of the transfer on site, before undergoing his medical examination and signing a contract that would mark the beginning of his new life on English time.”

It’s finally happening – Bradley Barcola will be a Liverpool player
After a painstakingly long period of negotiations, Barcola will finally become a Liverpool player this weekend.
The forward has 39 goals and 37 assists for PSG, including 21 goals and 21 assists in a single season in 2024/25. Liverpool tried to sign him that summer before eventually deciding to sign Alexander Isak instead.
They will now have both. With Hugo Ekitike set to return later this year, the Reds’ attack is looking incredible.
