Liverpool are reportedly watching Bournemouth’s left-back Milos Kerkez as plans are being prepared for the summer transfer window.
Unfortunately, neither Andy Robertson nor Kostas Tsimikas have been particularly convincing this season.
It’s been disappointing to see Robbo regress after all he’s done for the club but Arne Slot now has a tough decision to make.
The summer transfer window is on its way and Slot will be making preparations for the summer even though he still has a Premier League title to win. Off the pitch, the club’s recruitment department will be hard at work and it appears Kerkez is a serious contender to join them.
Now, Fabrizio Romano reports that Liverpool are keeping a close watch on the 21-year-old as the season winds down.
There are 11 games left in the Premier League season which gives the Reds just over a quarter of the campaign to win the title and assess potential new signings.
Liverpool are tracking Milos Kerkez after agency change
Reporting via his YouTube channel, Fabrizio Romano says that Kerkez has switched the agency representing him and is looking to join a “top club” in the summer.
“After Milos Kerkez changed agency in January, going with Fali Ramadani, with LIAN Spots, a very important agency, the situation is very clear: he’s looking for a top club for the summer transfer window,” Romano reports.
“In the summer he’s expected to be one of the players on the way out. There are many clubs interested in Milos Kerkez.
“Man United signed Patrick Dorgu, so that position is not expected to be covered again,” Romano added. “Liverpool are tracking the player and have been monitoring him. For sure he will be one to watch in the transfer window.
“Fali Ramadani is a very connected agent, he was the agent who brought Federico Chiesa to Liverpool. So, we have to see the connections and see what’s going to happen.
“But Kerkez will certainly be one to watch in the summer transfer window.”
Liverpool are also tracking Fulham left-back Antonee Robinson, with the 27-year-old reportedly topping their left-back shopping list.
