Liverpool are apparently closing in on an agreement with PSG for the transfer of Bradley Barcola, with one source suggesting the deal is complete barring some last-minute formalities.
On Tuesday evening, journalist Francois Plateau reported that Liverpool have all but completed a deal for Barcola.
He said on X: “Excl: Liverpool strike verbal agreement with PSG to sign Bradley Barcola. Deal for 23yo PSG winger worth in excess of £110m. Minor details remain to be finalised before France int’l joins LFC , with Barcola pushing for move for weeks as clubs have been in constant talks.”
He then claimed that a deal is considered “done” by all parties involved, with the last details being arranged before a “medical.”
He added: “Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain ironing out final details today before green light for Bradley Barcola to travel to Liverpool for medical. Deal for 23yo France international considered ‘done’ by all parties involved; Barcola ready to take up challenge in England.”

Fabrizio Romano and Ben Jacobs report imminent breakthrough
Ben Jacobs also reports that movement on a deal for Barcola is coming, reporting: “Liverpool could get a breakthrough for Barcola today, or in the next 48 hours.”

Romano reports: “At any moment could be the moment for the here we go because the two clubs are in direct conversations.
“If PSG decide to accept what Liverpool are offering, at any moment it could be the green light, medical test and contract signing.
“But don’t forget that Barcola plus one in could mean Cody Gakpo out. This is the way.”
It’s taken a long time, but Barcola will be a sensation in the Premier League
His stats over the last few seasons make for thrilling reading.
Last season, his numbers dipped a little bit, scoring 13 goals and assisting 7 after 21 goals and 21 assists in 2024/25. The season before that, Barcola had five goals and nine assists at the age of 20. His development is clear to see.
At Liverpool, under a manager as attacking as Iraola, he will be sensational to watch.
Fortunately, Barcola is as good in transition as he is against a low block, which will help in games where counter-attacking isn’t possible.
