Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones has constantly been linked with a move to Inter Milan this summer, and it looks as though a fresh bid is set to be tabled.
The 25-year-old could bring an end to his long stay at Anfield, having grown frustrated with his lack of action, with Inter appearing to be his most likely destination.
Nottingham Forest have also been mentioned as a potential destination for Jones in the summer transfer window, who has a big decision to make regarding his future ahead of next season.
Now, TEAMtalk report that Inter are willing to submit a third bid for the Liverpool ace, with the Italian giants “expected to improve their proposal” after already seeing two offers rejected.
The update adds that they are happy to up their bid to £25m and “could stretch beyond that if required”, but that being said, “there remains a reluctance” to meet Liverpool’s £30m asking price for him.

It will be interesting to see what Liverpool’s stance is if that next improved offer arrives for Jones, with the Reds holding firm to date.
But ultimately, it would be a shame to see the midfielder depart, considering his usefulness as a versatile squad player, with Jurgen Klopp once making it very clear how highly he rates him, saying:
“It was a joy to watch him. I’m really happy for him because the skill-set he has is immense but sometimes he forgets to speed the game up. Especially the second goal, it is exactly what Curtis can do. He has this speed, this tempo, and he doesn’t use it often enough.”
Jones is understandably considering his future, considering he is at a crossroads moment in his career, but seeing any talented homegrown player leave Liverpool at 25 is rarely a good thing.
It is easy to see him thrive in Serie A with his ball retention skills and intelligence – the slower pace may help him shine even more, too – but ideally, he will decide that staying with the Reds is the better outcome for him in the coming years.
