Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has talked up the idea of the Reds signing Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez during the January transfer window.
Andy Robertson’s struggles of late have been well-documented, and the Scot does not look like the force he used to be under Jurgen Klopp.
His red card against Fulham last weekend was another sloppy moment and it feels increasingly important for Liverpool to bring in a new left-back soon.
Speaking on Sky Sports‘ Monday Night Football [via This Is Anfield], Carragher heaped praise on Kerkez and mentioned Liverpool, having been linked with a move to Anfield:
People mustn’t go too overboard about Robertson’s current form, however, with the veteran defender still producing good performances in recent months.
He does look as though he may have lost a yard of pace, though, and considering he is now in his 30s, it is only right that Liverpool focus on left-back as a key position.
