Renowned football agent Jorge Mendes has reportedly met with Liverpool over the potential signing of Juventus attacking star Kenan Yildiz.
The Reds have found their feet again after a disappointing run of form, with Mohamed Salah among those who have improved their form in the win over Aston Villa and Real Madrid.
Despite this, Liverpool will no doubt be looking at possible attacking signings next summer, in order to ensure there is enough depth, not to mention having a long-term successor to Salah in place.
Now, in a boost for Arne Slot, Indy Kaila has taken to X to claim that the Reds have now had contact with Mendes over a move for Yildiz, with one other Premier League club also in the same situation:
“Exclusive. According to sources, super agent Jorge Mendes has met TWO English clubs in the last few weeks. We understand LFC are one of them. The subject was Kenan Yildiz. This deal only can happen if one of the high #lfc earners are to leave in the summer.”

Yildiz is a young player with an enormous amount of promise, already winning 25 caps and scoring five goals for Turkey at the age of just 20.
A left winger by trade, the Juventus star is also adept on the right wing and in a more central berth, with the legendary Alessandro Del Piero even lauding him in the past:

He took the responsibility of wearing the number 10 shirt, he should be supported and waited for. He has qualities and he is showing what he should show off.”
Yildiz has the ability to be a star at Liverpool, combining technical brilliance with substance, having bagged 34 goal contributions in 97 appearances for Juve.
