Liverpool could receive a summer offer from Juventus for Darwin Nunez with it increasingly obvious that the Uruguayan will leave the club in the summer or near future.
Things are not going very well for Nunez at the moment and as each day passes, more and more links appear suggesting he will soon leave the club. After joining Liverpool for a £64m fee in 2022, he was expected to become a top-class striker but has so far been unable to replicate the goalscoring form he found in Portugal.
As the season draws on, with Luis Diaz preferred out of position, it seems more and more likely that Arne Slot will say goodbye to the Uruguayan.
To make matters worse, Nunez made a joke about moving to the Saudi Pro League to earn more money that, while obviously tongue in cheek, has led to speculation that Nunez does indeed want to move to Saudi.

Of course, the only reason it’s being spoken about is because Liverpool really did receive an offer from Saudi Arabia for the striker. Fabrizio Romano reported for GMS that Al-Nassr made two bids for Nunez, with the second reportedly worth £62.4 million, plus add-ons.
Now, it seems Juventus are ready to take him to Italy.
Juventus preparing €60m move to sign Darwin Nunez
Juventus are worried that Dusan Vlahovic will leave in the summer and in the event that he does, they are lining up a surprise move to sign Darwin Nunez, according to Fichajes.
With Vlahovic potentially leaving, the report states that Juve are prepared to offer €60m (£50m) to convince Liverpool to part ways. Given Nunez’s uninspiring form for Liverpool, that would likely be accepted immediately.
It would provide the necessary funds to replace Nunez and amid wild claims that Liverpool are keen on signing Alexander Isak from Newcastle United, the Reds will need a lot of cash to complete such a blockbuster replacement signing.
Is it time to sell Nunez?
This is Nunez’s third season at Liverpool and while the striker cannot be accused of not giving his best, it would appear that his best simply isn’t at the level required of the starting centre-forward for the Reds.
If they receive an attractive option and have a replacement in mind, then it would be the smart move to sell Nunez while he still has enough years on his contract to extract a large fee for his services.
