Liverpool are fresh off the back of their most aggressive summer transfer window on record and like any elite club, they are still keeping their eyes on future targets.
The £125m acquisition of Alexander Isak was the cherry on the cake that was Liverpool’s summer recruitment.
Sporting director Richard Hughes and CEO of Football Michael Edwards have given Arne Slot a squad that is capable of challenging on all fronts.
There is likely going to be return for Marc Guehi in the January transfer window, reports Lewis Steele for the Daily Mail, but there are also other potential signings Liverpool still have their eye on despite spending £446m this summer.
Morgan Rogers and Michael Olise are ones to watch in future transfer windows
Writing in his ‘Confidential’ Q&A for the Mail, Steele answered ten questions from supporters.
One fan asked him: “Morgan Rogers for next summer? Michael Olise as well?”

Both players have been linked with the Reds and would make fine additions to the squad in the future depending on what Liverpool need next summer.
Steele replied at length: “A good source mentioned Morgan Rogers to me in June as a potential target but I was told ‘no’ by top Liverpool sources at the time.
“Does that mean it is completely off the cards? No – and they would be open to a market opportunity if the price was right. But they are not directly planning for that at this stage.”
Last season, Olise was incredible for Bayern. His 20 goals and 23 assists marked a fine improvement on the 10 goals and six assists he managed in his final season for Crystal Palace.
“As for Michael Olise, I certainly cannot rule that one out. They want a long-term Mohamed Salah replacement in the next summer or two and the early noises are that Bayern Munich’s former Crystal Palace star Olise could be right at the top of their shopping list.
“We can’t say too much more than that yet but could be one to watch…”
Rogers is another exciting target for Liverpool and after his 14 goals and 16 assists last season for Aston Villa, it’s honestly a shock that he didn’t move to a big club this year.
