Liverpool made a swathe of attacking signings in the summer transfer window with total spend reaching £466million.
Despite the incredible investment sanctioned by FSG, several issues have arisen that manager Arne Slot has had to address.
After an unprecedented losing streak, the Reds are back to winning ways, but there appears to be a desire to spend on more signings, with Liverpool reportedly in the market to sign a new left winger.
Luis Diaz was sold to Bayern Munich for £65.6m, where he is shining with 11 goals and five assists in 17 games.
That leaves only Cody Gakpo as Slot’s senior options at left-wing with 17-year-old Rio Ngumoha too young to be regularly relied upon as an option.
With this in mind, Liverpool have been fairly heavily linked with Bournemouth forward Anotine Semenyo, who has six goasls and five assists in 11 games this term.
“Liverpool offers £80 million” for Antoine Semenyo

According to a report from Spanish outlet Fichajes, Liverpool are “determined” to make a “strong move” in January to sign Semnyo, but given his form, age and contract situation, he will not come cheap.
The 25-year-old Ghanaian is under contract with Bournemouth until 2030, and so the south coast outfit will not be bullied.
Liverpool have scouted Semenyo and are “prepared to invest around £80 million to sign him.”
The report, titled “Liverpool offers 80 million for a top Premier League striker” goes on to say that the Merseysiders have already made “initial informal inquiries” over his contract and asking price.
Semenyo will not be an easy player to sign

Bournemouth will be understandably reticent to part ways with Semenyo given his form this season. Historically, major January transfers are tricky to pull off.
For Liverpool, however, this is an essential signing.
Not only do the Reds need competition for Cody Gakpo, but they also have to take into consideration that Mohamed Salah will not be part of the squad when he leaves for AFCON.
While Semenyo should be heading AFCON himself, Ghana did not qualify for the tournament and so he would be eligible to play in January should he join Liverpool.
