Liverpool are reportedly set to make an ambitious move to sign Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Carlos Baleba, who has rapidly become known as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.
All indications point towards the summer transfer window being a very busy one for Arne Slot with it likely a new striker and centre-back set to join the ranks. Should worst fears be realised any of Mo Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold leave, there will certainly be new signings to replace them.

In the 2023 summer transfer window, Brighton signed Baleba for just £23.2million and less than two seasons later, he is rubbing shoulders with some of the very best midfielders in England.
Now, Give Me Sport reports that Liverpool are interested in signing the Cameroonian 21-year-old. They are currently monitoring him, keeping a close eye on his progress at Brighton and could take their interest to the next level as the season draws closer to the finish line.
