Liverpool are closing in on the signing of 21-year-old goalkeeper Armin Pecsi as Arne Slot shuffles the No.1 deck.
Alisson Becker won his second Premier Leagut title this season but so too did Caoimkin Kelleher althouh the Northern Irishman has just joined Brentford as he follows his ambition of becoming a No.1 himself.
Kelleher has been one of the best goalkeepers in England for a few years now which sound strange as he has hade to play second fiddle and sit on the bench given Allison’s prowess.
Now, however, we will see just how good he is, joining a very good club in Brentford.
To replace him, Liverpool have already signed Valencia shot-stopper Giorgi Mamardashvili. The 6ft5 Georgian international will take up Kelleher’s role and compete with Alisson to start for Liverpool next season.
Liverpool are now close to signing another goalkeeper to strengthen their ranks further.

Pecis is “one of the best young goalkeeping prospects in Europe”
According to Hungary and Liverpool journalist Bence Bocsak, Pecis is one of the best talents in the goalkeeper market and travelled to Liverpool earlier this week from Budapest as a move to Anfield inches closer.
Bocsak provided information on the young goalie on X earlier this week before news of his transfer broke and it seems the 20-year-0ld has a very bright future ahead of him.
He reportedly ranks very highly for most goals prevented in Hungarian top flight football.
To add to that, he has also been nominated for the Golden Boy award which Raheem Sterling won while at Liverpool.
?? Ármin Pécsi is one to watch this summer.
He’s prevented the most goals (6.5) in the Hungarian top flight and ranks in the top five goalkeepers for save rate (72.44%).
He’s also made the most saves in total (91).

It’s typical of Liverpool’s recruitment staff to sign a player relatively unknown with the prospect of developing into a world beater. And at 20, Pecsi has a long career ahead of him given the longevity for goalkeeper in football.
