Real Madrid are now “ready” to receive potential offers for rumoured Liverpool target Eduardo Camavinga this summer, according to a fresh claim from journalist Pete O’Rourke.

The Reds have been linked with a move for the midfielder recently, with one report even suggesting they are leading the race to snap him at the end of the season.

Camavinga hasn’t been a regular for Madrid of late, which may force him into a fresh challenge come the end of the campaign, and now a new update has emerged regarding his future.

Speaking to Football Insider, O’Rourke said that Madrid could be braced for possible offers for the 23-year-old when the summer transfer window opens:

“There’ll be a number of clubs not just in the Premier League there’ll be clubs all over Europe who would be interested in Camavinga. Camavinga, if there’s any possibility that Real Madrid open the door for the Frenchman to leave, I think there’ll be a queue of clubs ready to sign him.

“For Man United, he would tick a lot of boxes. He’s proved himself at Real Madrid, a multiple-time Champions League winner and he’s still only 23. If Real Madrid do allow the midfielder to go, which isn’t certain, there will be clubs all over Europe who will be interested in him.

“Let’s just wait and see if Real Madrid are actually willing to sell him this summer, because he seems to get linked most transfer windows.”

Liverpool must consider summer Eduardo Camavinga offer

The fact that a player of Camavinga’s calibre could be available this summer should be music to Liverpool’s ears, with Thierry Henry expressing his admiration for him in the past, saying:

“He’s everywhere—winning duels, covering ground, and creating chances. He’s a manager’s dream.”

Liverpool are yet to make an offer for Camavinga, but it would be foolish for them not to, considering he is a Champions League-winning player with plenty of his career still ahead of him.

It may be that the Reds end up looking at different midfield options instead, but there is very little not to like about the Madrid ace, especially as he may reportedly be available for as little as £43m.
