Liverpool are already looking ahead to the 2025/26 season as they aim to maintain their dominance across both domestic and European competitions.

Currently leading the Premier League by 15 points, the Reds have also secured a place in the Carabao Cup final and hold the advantage over Paris Saint-Germain in their Champions League Round of 16 tie.

However, with uncertainty surrounding Mohamed Salah’s future, the club is actively exploring potential replacements.

Liverpool target Juventus sensation Kenan Yildiz amid Salah uncertainty

According to Tutto Juve, Liverpool are preparing a £67m bid for Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz as they look to secure a long-term successor for Salah.

The Turkish international, regarded as one of the brightest young talents in Europe, has attracted significant attention after a breakout season in Serie A.

Despite signing a contract extension with Juventus until 2029, Yildiz is firmly on Liverpool’s radar.

The 19-year-old originally developed in Bayern Munich’s academy before joining Juventus in 2022, where he has since risen rapidly through the ranks.

Yildiz’s rapid rise and impressive Record

Yildiz made his Serie A debut in August 2023 and quickly etched his name into Juventus’ history books by becoming their youngest-ever foreign goalscorer in the league.

His rise continued on the European stage when he netted his first Champions League goal, surpassing club legend Alessandro Del Piero as the youngest player to score for the Bianconeri in the competition.

So far this season, he has contributed six goals and four assists in 41 appearances across all competitions and at 19, has a very, very bright future ahead of him. But where would he fit in?

A perfect fit for Liverpool’s attack?

With his technical ability, pace, and creativity, Yildiz would be a natural fit in Arne Slot’s attacking system.

His versatility allows him to play across multiple forward positions, making him an ideal candidate to evolve into a key attacking figure at Anfield.

While Juventus will be reluctant to part ways with their rising star, Liverpool’s interest is reportedly serious, and negotiations could intensify in the coming months.

If Salah does depart, Yildiz could be the man to fill the void in Liverpool’s frontline.
