Liverpool legend Alisson has been linked with a move to Juventus in recent weeks, and now a massive update has emerged regarding his future.
It has been an emotional few days at Anfield as Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson have said their goodbyes, with the latter penning a tribute to Reds supporters on Instagram on Monday:
“I have spent all week telling the people in the building, players and staff how much they mean to me. Now it’s my turn to tell the most important people at the club how much they mean to me. That is you guys. From day 1 the love and support you have shown me has been unimaginable.
“Your support always gave me that extra motivation to be the best I could have been. We have had so many special nights and special days together and for that I’ll be forever grateful. The home games, away games, trips to Wembley or the parades. You guys ALWAYS show up in your numbers and I never took that for granted.
“You are the heartbeat of the club and the best fans in the world. Thank you for the reception yesterday, that will stay with me for the rest of my life. You guys are family. This isn’t a goodbye, it’s a see you soon. YNWA, Robbo.”
Seeing Alisson leave as well would be a massive blow for Liverpool, but Sky Sports reporter Vinnie O’Connor has now dropped an eight-word update amid links to Juve, saying the Brazilian is “expected to remain a Liverpool player next season.”

Alisson staying put at Liverpool would feel like a new signing for Liverpool, amid fears that they would be losing arguably the greatest goalkeeper in their history, having been called “world-class” by Jurgen Klopp in the past.
Granted, injuries have started to become an issue for the 33-year-old, but he showed against Brentford on Sunday how good he still is, making a superb save to deny Kevin Schade.

Liverpool may have to accept that Alisson isn’t available every week, but having him around is still a far better outcome than seeing him leave.
Giorgi Mamardashvili hasn’t yet fully convinced between the sticks for the Reds, and having another season to grow before potentially becoming No.1 in 2027/28 would be ideal.
