2. Yoav Ziv – Maccabi Tel-Aviv v Stoke – 2011

Up there with Paolo Di Canio’s shoving of Paul Durkin as the most hilarious red card ever. Frustrated at not being awarded a free-kick for a challenge by Ryan Shotton, Ziv kicked out at his boot that had come off as a result of the tackle, sending it flying into the side of the linesman and earning himself a red card none of us can watch without laughing.
