Liverpool are set to defend their 20th league title but Arsenal legend Thierry Henry believes they will let their crown slip to the Gunners.
Last season, the Reds won the title by a margin of 10 points and even then, that flatters Arsenal. Had Arne Slot essentially not given his players the last four weeks of the season to travel and relax in between matches, Liverpool would have reached 90 points.
You could argue that even though the players were essentially already in vacation mode, Liverpool should have finished with a greater gap seperating them from Arsenal.
Now, with the Premier League set to get back underway in less than a month, Liverpool are working hard to get their squad in order with pre-season underway and transfers coming in thick and fast.
Henry: Arsenal will win the Premier League title this season

Thierry Henry has boldly predicted that Arsenal will beat Liverpool to the title this time around.
He said: “Do I think that Mikel Arteta is doing a great job? Tremendous job. Do I think he should get the sack? Hell no. Am I going to think we’re going to win the league this year? Yes.
“It’s been good, it’s got to be better. I do understand when people keep asking whether we are going to go over the line.
“But [across five years], if we come second, second, second, it doesn’t mean we are going to come short again. You’re not going to win all the time. But to be in a position to win, you need to first and foremost be in a position to know how to win – that’s what they’ve done recently, and hopefully, they can go over the line.”
Sorry Thierry, it just doesn’t seem likely

With the transfers Liverpool have completed and rumoured to working on, it seems difficult to imagine Arsenal finishing above them let alone winning the title.
Arsenal have done some good work, signing Martin Zubimendi and Noni Madueke with Viktor Gyökeres seemingly next.
But if Liverpool get Hugo Ekitike and Rodrygo in addition to Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong, Liverpool will likely walk the Premier League title race again.
When you consider the world class talent already available to Arne Slot, it would take a major surprise for Liverpool not to retain their league crown.
