Liverpool To Pay Over The Odds

|

£35m for Andy Carroll? Newcastle were quite literally laughing all the way to the bank. No matter how good or bad you think the Geordie striker is, what has become clear is that he is not worth his transfer fee. But then again Liverpool are pretty fond of paying over the odds for players. Liverpool paid circa £20m for Robbie Keane in 2008 which was my personal favourite and with Liverpool’s new owners determined to see the historic club climb the table you wouldn’t bet against them signing a player or two next month, especially considering that Lucas has been ruled out for the season.
