The only other Championship player to make the list is Watford striker Marvin Sordell. The England U21 international scored fifteen goals for Watford last season leading many fans to tout him as the most promising prospect at the club since Ashley Young. The twenty year old formed a devastating partnership with Danny Graham last year and Watford will be desperately hoping they can hang on to him for at least the length of the season. Displaying ability that isn’t lacking in any department the young striker fits in to the mould of an all-round clichéd English midfielder, powerful and quick and equally dangerous with his head or feet. If Sordell continues his current rate of progression he could soon be on his way to, no offence Watford, bigger things.
