The Swiss wonderkid is the hottest prospect in European football at the moment and a January move could be imminent with Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal all interested in the 20-year-old Basel midfielder. With over 80 appearances at such a young age and Champions League and International experience, Shaqiri could take his pick of any club in Europe to move to in the next year. With his contract running out this season Basel seem to have missed their chance to earn big money from the player and so it is now down to the agent of the skilful midfielder to choose the suitable new home him. Hopefully it will be the Premier League and he can become as good as people think he will.
