Andrei Arshavin

|

We all know what Arshavin is capable of. We have seen the moments of brilliance but we also all know that he is not playing well. He has said himself that his form whilst at Arsenal has been below par and not many would disagree, but is it his own fault? His best position is undoubtedly in the hole behind the striker and even in the midst of his current unimpressive spell the one time he has been played there (against Bolton in the Carling Cup) he was arguably man of the match. Wenger said himself that he had tried to adapt Andrei’s game to more of a passing one and whilst his assist tally last season was very impressive in is definitely not the role that brings out the best in him.
