West Ham United have reportedly made their position clear on the futures of two players linked with Liverpool, Jarrod Bowen and Mateus Fernandes, as speculation grows over potential summer moves involving the pair.

Both players have attracted attention from top Premier League clubs ahead of the transfer window, but the Hammers are currently determined to resist offers unless circumstances force a change in stance.

Despite mounting external interest, West Ham are understood to have no intention of selling either Bowen or Fernandes at this stage.

The club’s internal position is that both players remain central to their long-term plans, particularly as they look to maintain stability following a demanding season.

Even with continued transfer links, the expectation is that West Ham will attempt to block approaches for as long as they are able to keep hold of their Premier League status.

Bowen remains a key figure amid Liverpool links

Jarrod Bowen has been consistently linked with a move to Liverpool, especially in discussions around possible attacking reinforcements and long-term succession planning in forward areas.

The England international has been one of West Ham’s most important players in recent seasons, contributing goals, assists and leadership from the right flank and central attacking positions.

Liverpool’s interest is believed to stem from his Premier League experience and versatility, with the forward capable of operating across multiple roles in the front line.

However, West Ham view him as a cornerstone of their squad and are not actively looking to negotiate his departure.

Fernandes also attracting major interest

Mateus Fernandes has also emerged as a player of interest for Liverpool, alongside other top clubs monitoring his development.

The midfielder has impressed with his technical ability and composure, earning a reputation as one of the more promising young midfield profiles in the Premier League system.

West Ham’s stance remains firm, with the club viewing him as a long-term investment rather than a player available for sale.

Interest in both players is part of a broader pattern involving West Ham’s squad, with several of their top performers attracting attention from bigger clubs ahead of the summer window.

However, internal expectations remain that the club will resist major departures unless forced into a different position by sporting or financial circumstances.

That approach reflects a desire to avoid weakening the squad during a period of transition.
