World-renowned Championship club Wrexham are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool legend Andy Robertson at the end of the season.
Robertson is now having to settle for being the Reds’ second-choice left-back, with Milos Kerkez coming in as a younger alternative last year.
The Scot was strongly linked with a move to Tottenham in the January transfer window, but for the time being, he has remained at Liverpool.
Robertson is out of contract at Anfield this summer, however, and there is every chance that he departs on a free transfer, with a new deal potentially not coming his way.
According to TEAMtalk, Wrexham are eyeing an ambitious move for Robertson and former Liverpool winger Harry Wilson, who is now excelling at Fulham.
Speaking about the situation, a source from the Welsh club said: “We’re not afraid to think big. If we go up, we want to give ourselves the best possible chance of staying there and establishing ourselves.”

Wrexham continue to go from strength to strength under Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, being recognised all over the world thanks to the Disney+ documentary series about them.
Robertson could love the idea of moving there, even if they fail to earn promotion to the Premier League, possessing an elite winning mentality and huge experience, and liking remaining in the limelight at a renowned club.
He is an undisputed Liverpool legend who Arne Slot appreciates, with the Dutchman lauding the 31-year-old’s team ethic earlier this season:
“I’m really happy that he also says that he finds joy in the position he’s in and that he also understands how important he’s been to this club for all these years and he definitely still also is in the position he’s in now. He did play quite a lot of games – not as much as he probably hoped. But the way he’s acting and also now his comments in the media is a big compliment and says a lot about him.”
If Robertson does depart Liverpool this summer, he will leave as possibly the best left-back in the club’s history, and a much-loved figure because of his infectious personality.
