Hamburg chief Bastian Reinhardt has denied that Liverpool have made a bid for their winger Eljero Elia. Reinhardt revealed that Wigan were the only ones to make a loan offer for the Dutch international:
“There has been an offer from Wigan Athletic, which wanted to hire him for half the season. But will not rush to agree to such things. Apart from that, there have been no offers.”
Elia was believed to be subject to a £13million from Liverpool according to the German media.

Either Elia or A.Young or NZogbia, I’m fine since all of them are good.

Elia is a quality winger, speedy and skillful, no doubt about that but we’ve already got a similar player in Ryan Babel who I think is a fantastic player when he’s in form. I would prefer we go for a left footed winger like Charles N’Zogbia who would add something different to our team.
