Italian Press: Liverpool targeting Juve striker?

|

Sky Italia are reporting that Liverpool are interested in signing Juventus’s Brazilian born Italian striker Amauri. It is believed that Roy Hodgson is a keen admirer of the 30 year old and believes he would succeed in the Premier League. The report suggests that Juve are aware of Liverpool’s interest and would be willing to negotiate a swap deal which would involve a Liverpool player moving in the the other direction. Sky Italia believe that Damien Comolli is scheduled to have talks with Juve counterpart Fabio Patrici in the coming days and the futures of Alberto Aquilani and perhaps Amauri will be discussed at the meeting.

    He’s 30

    He’s 30

Which means that he’s a player that Hodgson likes and is looking to bring him to Anfield. 30 year old average player from Juventus, ringing any bells?

To be in Hodgson’s team you have to be 29/30 and/or British and/or played for him before. Jones, Konchesky, Poulsen and Cole.
