Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani’s agenT Franco Zavaglia has once again made clear the player’s desire to stay in Italy:
“I don’t know if Juventus have spoken with Liverpool. The player’s desire is clear. He would like to stay in Italy. If he goes back to England, he won’t make himself ill over it.”
Juve Sporting Director Giuseppe Marotta believes that the €16m deal stipulated in the player’s loan agreement is “negotiable.”

Sam, I have to disagree. True he took longer than expected to get fit but he was starting to show his class towards the end of the season. Fans were looking forward to seeing what he could do this season but Hodgson and co. sent him out on loan to Juve with an option to buy. He has been thier best player this season and I can understand why he would want to stay, especially given comments like yours, but I don’t how you can say that he has “shown a total lack of respect for liverpool”

If there is room for negotiation then what’s the point of agreeing a price for him in the first place? If Juventus want him and he wants to stay then they should pay the agreed price. Nothing less.
