Reds ‘to push’ for greater share of Foreign TV money?

|

The Daily Mail is reporting that Liverpool want the money from the Premier League Foreign TV rights deal to be shared differently among the top league’s 20 clubs. Currently every Premier League club gets an equal share of the revenue but the Reds, according to the paper, want the money divided depending on viewer attraction to individual clubs rather than the collective bargaining deal which has been in place since the inception of the Premier League. The Premier League’s 20 clubs would most likely vote against any such proposal as the £1.3billion earned from the deal will no longer be equally divided.
