So, just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse than losing 2-1 at home to Manchester United, the players manage to come off worse in a 4-1 defeat at the Emirates to fellow Champions League rivals, Arsenal.
The loss basically spells the end to Liverpool’s hopes of finishing in a Champions League spot, with only a perfect run from now until the end of the season giving us any hope.
That said, even Europa League football would be a miracle at this stage, such is the impact the last two results look to have had on the team. The players did little to suggest they could hack it at the top against Arsenal and, thus, the next few pages of player ratings will not be pretty.

Our faillure to sign quality players in the summer has come to hunt us badly. A lot of money was wasted on many average players to add up to the batalions we have in henderson, allen & co . To make it worst, br is not up to it tactically as such he can never win anything for us. Imagine stoke holding themselves yesterday against chelsea.
