Liverpool are not looking to buy another centre back this summer, according to the Liverpool Echo. The Reds have been heavily linked with Borussia Dortmund centre half Neven Subotic after the Serbian stated he would be leaving the German club this summer to get more first team football.
The link with the Merseyside club is an obvious one as Jurgen Klopp managed the 27 year old both at former clubs Mainz and Borussia Dortmund but it looks as though the German manager is happy with the current options available to him.
The impending doping ban for Mamadou Sakho may changed things however, but as it currently stands, it looks as if Klopp likes the look of Sakho, along with Dejan Lovren and new signing Joel Matip. With Kolo Toure leaving on a free transfer and Martin Skrtel looking likely to complete his move to Fenerbahce next week, it may be the case that Klopp puts his faith in Joe Gomez as the fourth choice centre back.
