Inter Milan are looking to table a €30million for Germany international left back Jonas Hector, according to the Express in Germany.
The Cologne based newspaper has said there are rumours circulating that the Italian club are interested in the 26 year old but after signing a new contract until 2021, the full back will cost a significant amount more than he would have been worth just six months.
Liverpool were said to be put off by Cologne’s asking price for the player in the summer and no doubt the steep figure being proposed now would put the Reds off further from making a move.
The Express say that Bayern Munich have also held an interest in Hector in the past but although they rate the German as a very good player, they already have an excellent left back in the form of David Alaba, who has excelled under both Pep Guardiola and Carlo Ancelotti playing in that role.
