Liverpool midfielder Yossi Benayoun could be set to link up with Avram Grant at West Ham, according to CaughtOffside.com. The 30 year old winger has expressed in recent days that Chelsea are interested in him but according to the site, Israeli manager Grant could persuade fellow Israeli Benayoun to return to Upton Park for £8million. Grant is expected to be named Hammers manager in the coming weeks and the prospect of a return for Benayoun, who had two successful years at the the London club. may well be on the cards. The deal could also suit Liverpool who need to sell players before they can reinvest money in revitalising the playing squad this summer.
