Rafa: Young Spaniard Could Be “Very, Very Important”

|

Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez has heaped praise on young Spanish attacker Dani Pacheco. The youngster came on for the last 12 minutes for David Ngog against Fulham on Sundayand Benitez believes it is only the start for the 19 year old:

“He is a player with talent and if he can keep working hard, he will use it more effectively. Sometimes players with talent are a little bit inconsistent, so if he works hard, like he is doing now, he can be very, very important. He is closer every day. He is training with the first team, learning and gaining more experience. Training with the first team is always massive for the young players. It is extra motivation and they can learn a lot of things that maybe they would not see in other young players. Everybody can see him playing really well with the reserves, scoring fantastic goals and getting a lot of assists. He is a player who can make a difference in the final third, which is what the fans like.”

Pacheco has appeared four times as a subsitute for the first team this season and he is clearly at the forefront of the mind of the manager. A very talented player, let’s hope Pacheco makes it at the top level.

Just praise that you can do Rafa. Never ever like to features Pacheco when you have to do that. Shame on you

In the eyes of Rafa, Pacheco is only the equivalent of a one-arm-one-leg tied-up Lucas. As far as Rafa is concerned, Pacheco pales in comparison to Lucas whom he considers to be the best midfielder in the world.

Rafa has been praising Pacheco for the last 1 year but only praise and praise and praise, why rafa not giving chances to pacheco, Everybody in liverpool says the guy has talent, he is next fabregas and all sort of other praising things than why not play him and make him feel better, Rafa again is wasting an exceptional talent by not giving them chance, how old was owen when he was getting first team, nearly the same age of pacheco may be this guy could have become blessing in disguise.

I agree with previus coments, he needs more chance in the first team if he is going to develope.
But this season has given Benitez very little chance to introduce young players, but maybe now he should, with fourth spot being lost and all.
