Liverpool’s Jack Robinson has revealed that he likens his style of play to Chelsea full-back Ashley Cole and that he watches the England international in matches and takes things from his game. Asked about his style of play by Liverpoolfc.tv, Robbo stated:
“I’m an attacking full-back but I also love a good tackle and don’t neglect the defensive side of my game. When you look around Europe, there aren’t many left-backs that are as good as Ashley Cole and I do watch him play and try to pick up bits and pieces from him too.”
At 16 years and 250 days, Robinson became the youngest player ever player to play for Liverpool when he came on as a substitute against Hull City on the last day of the season, surpassing Max Thompson’s record which was set in 1974 when he played at the age of 17 years and 128 days.
Good luck to this young lad; we could do with an Ashley Cole! I’ve still got great faith in Insua, even though he struggled in quite a few games last season. He played far too many games, but that was because of injuries. If Insua is managed properley he could become quite a player I believe.

Also we need to stop putting too much pressure on these youngsters by saying this is the next so and so. We all know what happened to Bruno Cheyrou the next Zidane!!!
if he came from back and score a goal… its a bonus for us… if he can effective defending like niesta or abidal so i think he will have a goog lad for pool,,, thinkin…
we want more 2 forward who can speed runner.. ..drible..heading..trying..eagle eyes.. solo… good shoot like drogba..
we want more 2 miedfield .. can operate as winger..cross the ball 90% perfectly..try to shoot the goal post 90% accurate with freekick & in the game..
2 defender have a very hard tackle and strong body challange in air or field to depend the last man and reina..
we must have a player who can make defisite goal..
liverpoll must have 6 or 7 man can make goal consistency…
