Agent: Benayoun likely to stay with Reds

Agent Ronen Katzov has stated that although there is interest from Italian side Roma, Yossi Benayoun will most likely be staying at Liverpool this summer. He told forzaromainfo:

“We have not been contacted by Roma. We know about an interest from Roma, and there has been plenty of talk about this, but we have not had any contact with the directors. Roma would be nice, but my client has a contract with Liverpool and he is fine in England.”

Reports in recent days have linked the Israeli international with a move away from Liverpool with Tottenham, Roma and Sevilla seemingly interested in the 29 year old.
