Benayoun: Ancelotti wants me

|

Liverpool midfielder Yossi Benayoun has given the clearest indication yet that he will be leaving Anfield this summer. Quoted in the Daily Mail, the Israeli international spoke of a potential move to Chelsea:

“Ancelotti wants me for next season and now everything depends on Liverpool. Chelsea will have to pay some £6m but I believe that in the end I’ll be moving there.’

We do not want Benayoun. He is not better than what we have already got and he is 30. What is the use in spending £6m on someone we don’t need nor want.

  • Sean says:

But if you want to sell us Torres feel free.

Oh come on now! We are LFC and , according to media , absolutely stony-broke and about as healthy as a Conference side. Surely the talk of £6m is rash as we would accept £12.19.11d wouldn’t we ? ( assuming we get a loan for that amount….
