Well what a week it has been at Liverpool FC. A week that started off like being a normal one, descended into chaos as Rafa Benitez was sacked on Thursday. A great manager who had achieved a great many things at the club, Rafa will always be remembered for his extraordinary triumph in Istanbul. The fall out from Rafa leaving has led to a flow of new articles and I am glad to say live4Liverpool has added a few more bloggers to the site this week to give a range of opinion. New writer Chris Severs talks about the American owners in the “Scorpions and the Winds of Change” and Mark Wilson pays tribute to Rafa in “Why Rafa should be praised for his achievements, not lambasted for his failures.” Regular Sean Mullan talks about why sacking Rafa Benitez could be a mistake: “In our current state, where will we find a better manager” while I have been looking at the fallout of Rafa’s departure in “The Exodus Set to Begin at Anfield,” profiling a young player in “A Star in the Making? Nikola Saric” as well as looking at Commercial Director Ian Ayre and his role in the Liverpool boardroom in “Ian Ayre – A man who could decide Rafa’s future.” Enjoy reading.
