Barnes’ World Cup Rap for Mars (Full version)

With the start of the World Cup just a day away, many companies are going into full throttle with their advertising campaigns for the tournament. Certainly there is fierce competition in making the best viral video for the World Cup. No doubt my favourite by far is Liverpool legend John Barnes reprising his role from the 1990 World Cup song “World in Motion” for Mars. Released by legendary band New Order, the song is widely seen as the best England World Cup song ever made and Barnes rapping is a real highlight of the song.
