According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool are continuing their interest in Wolves goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey. The 23 year old had been Wanderers’ first choice goalkeeper until last season, but veteran American keeper Marcus Hahnemann took over the gloves mid way through Mick McCarthy side’s first campaign in the Premier League. The Reds are looking for a reliably understudy to Pepe Reina and it is thought that they have already had a £2million bid rejected by Wolves for the goalkeeper’s services.
