“A deal can only happen towards the last part of the transfer market”

|

Javier Mascherano’s agent Marco Piccioli believes that his player’s move to Inter Milan from Liverpool could take a long time to finalise, despite the player’s good relationship with Inter manager Rafa Benitez. Piccioli said to Calcionews24.com:

“I know that Mascherano and Benitez have a great relationship. However, sometimes this is not enough. We will see in future. A deal can only happen towards the last part of the transfer market, that’s my vision at least.”

Inter’s sporting director Marco Branca has indicated that they will not bid over their €25million valuation of the player and are prepared to wait until Liverpool lower their price.

If they don’t budge on 25 million euro don’t sell him, they can pay up if they want him and nothing less than 25 million pounds would be acceptable, preferably 30 million quid.
