Brazilian clubs looking to get our keeper for free?

|

The Daily Mail is reporting that both Corinthians and Santos are interested in signing Liverpool number 2 goalkeeper Diego Cavalieri. The 27 year old has not yet appeared in a Premier League match since his arrival at the club from Palmeiras in 2008 and is looking to leave the club to get more first team football. The keeper is aware that he would have to take a pay cut to return to Brazil and, according to the paper, he would prefer a move to Spain. However it seems that both Corinthians and Santos are leading the chase for the player after both clubs failed to agree deals to sign Dida who has been released by AC Milan. The Mail believes though that despite the fact the Reds paid £3million for the player two years ago, and the fact he is only half way through a four year contract, both Brazilian clubs want the Merseyside club to release the player for free or to make him available for loan.

he has stated over and over that he goes back to brazil, family reasons and this has been known for about 1 year, he doesnt want to leave liverpool and in fact if anyone knew waht they where posting or indeed reporting, or trying to? they would know that he gets on very well with reina and loves it at the club, but he wants to play more and the family ties is a problem being from brazil…. he will not be going anywhere on a free, the club needs the money and he isnt a bad keeper, world class he is not but worth 2 mill or the around that he most certainly is…
