Liverpool’s Spanish starlet Jesus Fernandez Saez or “Suso” impressed once again in Liverpool XI’s 3-0 defeat to Luton yesterday. Reserve coach John McMahon praised the youngster’s contribution, saying:
“Suso is a real talent and hopefully he can play a key role for us this season.”
The 16 year old joined from Cadiz at the start of the year, and will hopefully have an impressive season for the reserves under McMahon.
Everybody says he is a real talent, just a question though. Why is he not listed on the academy squad sheet then? He is already 16 !!!
Wasn’t he 16 a year ago? Google him, and you’ll see he was 16 when we got him in July last year. Maybe he’s planning to stay 16 for ever, and beat Jack Robinson’s record for youngest player on debut!
Greg: His DOB 19 November 1993.

He was 15 when we signed him last July.
He was 16 when he arrived in January.
He is still 16 this July.
