The agent of Anderlecht striker Romelu Lukaku has told Spanish newspaper Marca that he has spoken with various clubs including Liverpool about his player. Christophe Henrotay said:
“I have spoken with Real, yes, but I have also spoken with people from Bayern, Liverpool and Barcelona. These clubs are monitoring Romelu, but that does not mean they want to sign him immediately.”
Roy Hodgson has been linked with a number of strikers, including PSV’s Ola Toivonen, after stating at the weekend:
“If the right player comes along, it would be good if we could bring another striker in. But I’d want it to be the right man and I don’t think we should go out and just sign someone because we can. It’s important if we bring someone in that he really fits the profile I’ve sketched out.”
