Agent: “It doesn’t mean he wants to leave at all costs”

|

Liverpool midfielder Dirk Kuyt’s agent Rob Jansen has said that negotiations between Liverpool and Inter Milan over a possible move are continuing:

“The two clubs continue to talk, but things are moving slowly. The difference between demand and offer is important. My client told Liverpool he no longer wants to be involved as this is something that regards his career and life. It doesn’t mean he wants to leave at all costs, but when a club like Inter comes along it’s normal to look into the situation further.”

In other news, the Reds are believed to be closing in on the signing of Fulham full back Paul Konchesky, according to Skysports.com.

I’d be glad to see the back of Kuyt. 1 good game and 3 bad ones like Kuyt plays will not win us trophies.

£15 million isn’t bad for a 30 year old and Maxi more or less has all the same attributes so could slot straight in or possibly Babel. We could then by another Centre Mid or Striker.

The clock is ticking and all thats come out of Anfield is the sound of silence – extremely poorly ran club.
