Reds Starlet: I would welcome a move to Malaga

|

Liverpool youngster Dani Pacheco has reportedly told La Opinion de Malaga that he would be open to a move to Malaga to gain first team football next season:

“What I want is to have minutes and I would welcome my transfer to a team like Malaga, but I have to clarify my position in England this week.”

Pacheco has been at the UEFA U-19 Championships with Spain and will surely have discussions with Roy Hodgson sometime in the next few days. Currently it looks like he is attracted to a return to his hometown club.

if he must go a huge sell on fee clause should be demanded and a raffle held for the privilege of kicking his arse up the plane steps.

    ha! both valid points!

Play the lad.Simple as.Any manager worth a light would see how good he is and re-assure him to stay and play.Fowler,Gerrard and Carra didn’t have to wait until they were 20+.Just as well.I can understand the lads frustration after watching us suffer 19 defeats last season because of a goal drought and get about 2 minutes at the end of half a dozen games to prove yourself. The lad’s got a right to work.

Well said TillyTheRed. Youngsters were given a chance a lot earlier back in the days, and under Rafa few were given one at all even though we horded them. Plessis did some solid games, then we didn’t the see the light of him. Nemeth was loned out and Dani glued to the bench at best. Things have gotta change with Roy.

And I cannot for a second understand how Rafa of the two chose Ngog as his favourite. Sure, he’s taller and maybe in a better physique but Dani has bags of skills, and is a more versitile player that can be deployed in more than a attacking-only role, which should have been good come injuries.

Surely it would be easier to play him in our first team, at worst send him on loan, with zero chance of a perminent move.

I really hope Roy starts him tonight.

TillyTheRed and fseq are spot on. Right now, in our current squad and in the reserves, we DO have an outstanding team….all we need is for Roy to us them in their natural positions. Babel is a perfect example, he IS a striker. The only area we are weak is on the wings

I would suggest a loan period to get him playing football but not to sell him. Everyone can see he’s a goal threat and if he’s not going to get playing in England this year then a loan spell would get him minutes under his belt and sharpen his skills further. He is still fairly young and to lose him after grooming him at Melwood would be a disaster.

can’t blame the lad for wanting away, he’s a footballer and apparently fotballers like to play football, i think i read that somewhere once!

the problem is the lads who played against munchengladbach looked just that, boys against men, except for shelvey, it was good because a few of them will now know they have a long way to go. AS FOR TONY SILVA, HE IS THE REAL DEAL GET HIM IN THE MIX RIGHT NOW, IF NOT QUICKER.

He is gonna be a hit for us, he shouldnt go. I undaerstand his frustration. Roy should give him a chance.YNWA
