Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson was asked by the Turkish media yesterday whether he was interested in signing Galatasaray captain Arda Turan. He replied:
“No. There are a lot of interesting players in Turkey, but the players here earn good money and very often they begin and end their careers in Turkey and don’t need to move abroad.”
Arda has expressed in the past his love for Liverpool Football Club and the Turkish press have linked him with a move to Anfield on a number of occasions but it seems Roy is not interested in signing the player.
Turan has been at the top of his game for some years now, you have to ask yourself WHY HAVE NONE OF EUROPE’S BIG CLUBS TAKEN A GAMBLE ON HIM??
Would love to see him at Anfield, but he has 2 qualities that don’t fit in with our current style of play……….PACE & SKILL!!!

WE NEED THIS DUDE ! We need a LEFT WINGER ! A NATURAL LEFT FOOTED PLAYER who plays on the WINGS. It has to be ARDA or JUAN MATA. Jova isn’t good enough to run pass defenders. Kuyt gives a 110 percent in every game he plays, no matter where he plays but he isn’t fast and agile enough to get pass defenders. We need a left winger A.S.A.P ! Get either one of them. Don’t think about where they come from or how much they’re getting paid. If they are worth the money and if they complete the squad then, I see no reason to leave bidding for them out.
What can you say? Roy is incapable of recognising good talent even if it is staring straight at him.

Rogue, Arda is right footed. But still he should be one of our top targets, can play anywhere in midfield too. Quality player.
