Which bidder is going to rescue Liverpool?

|

God, with all the take-over rumours abounding Liverpool these days, its hard to know what will happen at Anfield.
KENNY HUANG and his backers are said to be serious bidders, dealing with RBS over their £257 million debt , which the are offering to pay-off aswell as giving Hicks & Gillett a £320 milllion payout.
YAHYA KIRDI; Fronting a bid for Liverpool with wealthy backers from the Middle-East and Canada, although he made a similar bid in April and was rebuffed.
RHONE CAPITAL& the AL-Kharafi family of the Middle-East are also said to be interested.
KEITH HARRIS Former Chaiman of the Football League, is believed to be representing bidders for Liverpool FC.

Martin Broughton said this week that:

“Any bids that go to RBS go straight to me and are directed to Barclays Capital, who are charged with the sale of Liverpool FC.”

Turbulent times at Anfield, lets hope a new buyer is found soon to get the club rocking again.

This stupid from one bank to another, RBS paid the loan to th Tanks so it should be left up to them and the board, i don’t understand why Barclaycap had to be involved, i know they were brought in when Broughton came in but was there any need? Now once the sale is done, RBS gets their loan and interest payment, Broughton gets his percentage, the yanks get theirs, the board probably gets theirs, Barclaycap gets theirs and any other external partner of BarclayCap who was installed to find buyers gets their cut and Keith Harris gets his, so much money could have been spent on transfers and wages stupid Yanks soon you go the better ……YNWA

I agree entirely but this is the state of ‘big business’ these days. They’re all money grabbers & my concern now is that the board may yet make another bad decision following Moore’s….

We need real commitment from a reliable bidder who really wants to move the club forward FOR THE RIGHT REASONS. If that means we sell to the lowest bidder or to the group with the least funding so be it. The debt needs cleared and the club on firm financial foundations if we are ever to reach the domestic heights of 20+yrs ago…

don’t really know much about any of them, but it appears no-one has heard of huange so i’m a little sceptical! as for the syrian, kirdi, well he just looks slimey! perhaps the al-kharafi family, kuwaitis are normally a safe bet!
i suppose after the pompey fiasco, the PL will sort out the serious contenders

I hope so but sadly the decision rests solely with the board (provided the bidders pass the PL’s silly fit&proper persons test/hoop).
I just hope Broughton leaves his loyalty to chelsea at home the day he makes his vote!

Not sure about any of them. Kirdi does sound a bit sus. Huang bid also seems to change every day with the cic backing one min then the next not. The others ,well don’t know anything about them.Going by history ,when the donald duck and mickey mouse sham came in for LFC they were making the same kind of promises as Kirdi and Huang and we know what that amounted too, Jack
Sh!t. So may be the Kuwati family and the others who are keeping it pretty quiet are the ones to watch. Lets not let history repeat it self. Kieth Harris says the peeps he represents are cash rich and thats all we have heard ,lets not knock that as we have had a lot of hot air as mentioned in the past from the dufus brothers when they came in. Thats all it ever was.

we will get who we get and then we will have to get on with it, at least we are in a lot better shape now, rafa had to go and i’m glad he has gone but he has left us strong in young players.
the new manager i believe will play his strongest team, do away with zonal marking and end dressing room unrest. result – better results
