“Fingers crossed, I can get into the squad”

|

Liverpool winger David Amoo is hoping he can get into the playing squad for the Reds’ Carling Cup tie against Northampton on Wednesday. The youngster talked about his first team experience against FK Rabotnicki and said to Liverpoolfc.tv, he would like to have more chances to play:

“It was a great experience to play in Macedonia in front of such a big crowd and it would be even better to play at Anfield for the first team. Obviously I’ve played there in the Youth Cup but this would be another level up. It would be great to be involved in some capacity. Fingers crossed, I can get into the squad. If I can do that, it would be great.”

Amoo has started impressively for Liverpool’s reserves scoring three goals in three games.
