Is Roy buckling under the pressure? Is it time to start worrying? And a glimmer of hope for the future. This week on live4Liverpool.com

|

It is safe to say that this week was an unmitigated disaster for any Liverpool fan. After going 2-0 down against Manchester United last week, we somehow managed to get it back to 2-2 before givng away another sloppy goal leaving us 16th in the league. Then if it couldn’t get any worse, our second string are knocked out by League Two Northampton Town and all hell breaks loose in the press about Liverpool’s demise. Let’s hope next week is far better. The blogs this week tend to indicate this mood of despair, although I have to say there is still some positivity around. Look out for Andrew Blanche’s article “If this great man believes in Roy, so should we” and Karl Thyer’s article “Is this the glimmer of hope in the doom and gloom” taking the positives from the Manchester United defeat where the Reds began to pass it more fluently in the second half.  We also welcome a new writer Brian Durand whose article “Don’t make Hodgson the bad guy” is very interesting. Thanks again to David Tyrer, Mark Wilson, Elliott Tunstall, Karl Thyer, John Toher, Andrew Blanche and Niall Sherry for writing for the site this week. Have fun reading.
