FIVE Games to show what this team’s really made of

|

What we have been hearing especially since the defeat to Manchester United is a lot of negative rhetoric’s about Liverpool FC. Some people even suggested that our squad is not good enough to be in the top four of the Premier League. Yes, our current position after five games is sixteenth but let us not be too hard on our lads. Our current squad had some very good and exciting players, ones that will no doubt win us a lot of games to come. I still like what I have seen and although we were beaten by a Manchester United team that clearly was better on the day. We have several key players of our own to watch. Raul Meireles, for one I have seen a lot of quality. His play is one of high standard and if he plays for us as he did for Porto we will be seeing a legend in the making. He passes well and is clearly comfortable with the players around him as if he has been at Liverpool for years. That shows the quality and ability of the man.

Steven Gerrard as usual sets the standard and his usually high one. I for the first in a long time liked what I saw in our skipper. His attitude is different and I know he will flourish in his favoured central role. Also what can we say about Torres. We know his quality and with more matches under his belt it’s only a matter of time before we see the real Fernando Torres again.

As Rafa Benitez rightly said our owners are comprised of people who know nothing about football and as such it is useless to show them why we need another quality striker or talk football with them, if they knew anything about football they would have seem this coming. They would be better prepared for times like these when Torres is not at his best and Dirk Kuyt is injured so that we would have options available. Hopefully the issue of ownership will be sorted out and coming January’s transfer window we can actually bring in a much needed striker and a winger. Most top teams in the Premier League consist of 3-4 quality strikers. But regardless of our sketchy start to the season, it is clear that with the upcoming fixtures it is imperative that Liverpool FC wins the next five matches. Sunderland (H),Blackpool (H),Everton (A),Blackburn Rovers(H),Bolton (A).

I have been a Liverpool F.C supporter since the mid 80's, I fell in love with this club when I saw the likes of Ian Rush and John Barnes play. I hold a Law degree from the University of London ,and a Bachelors of Science Degree from the University of the West Indies.

We hve lost our rythm ……we dont knw hw 2 keep clean sheets any mre. Our draw against Sunderland shows tht our RB(GLEN) is useles in defence. Our LM (COLE) is so Greedy and so out of position in mids. And thn come our heart of MID ( SG) he is playing 2 deep he shld b mre attacking. Nxt (RAUL,POULSEN) dont knw y both r playing if u cld play Lucas in place of both of thm it wld b much better. Yes i knw wht th hell am i saying lucas out thr… Thk logicaly Lucas has played with (SG) mre thn both of thm so he knws hw 2 gel with team. And nxt take off joe cole and place Milan in left side and play NGOG ahead of Torres. And i dont thk Torres is happy with wht th midfield is providing him. Hope everything wil cme bck on track fr liverpool nxt week against Blackpool. Advice Fr our team 2 fire goals Roy try 2 play Ngog or kuyt as a second striker and leave cole on th bench and use him in Europa league. GOD BLESS LIVERPOOL “YNWA”
