Reina praises former team-mate Masch

|

Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina did not criticise the manner of Javier Mascherano’s departure from the club after talking about the Argentine and he wished his old team-mate well:

“He will not create any problems in Barcelona, he is always professional, never has generated controversy. He’s a good person even if he is quiet, somewhat introverted. When it’s time to work, he works.”

Reds team-mate Jamie Carragher previously criticised the way Mascherano left Anfield at the end of the August transfer window.

i know this is not the place but here goes, i really think carragher is is going out of his way to embarrass rafa, using houlier to do it, jamie no doubt is the one who supposedley said to houlier, its your team that won it boss after the game in istanbul and carragher was briefing in the papers against rafa though his biographer – i believe this is the reason rafa left, well gerrard never played at juventus it was a masterful display by xabi alonso that got us through, it was a fantastic goal by garcia in the home tie too, rafa has made gerrard twice the player he was, gerrard and owen at his best were the main reasons we won trophies under houlier and they were already at anfield. groblaar was at his party yet he blamed souness for our downfall, you cant win titles with an empty net.

I agree too to stan.. Maybe it was time for rafa to go, maybe not.. BUT.. I was pretty satisfied with his work till we were not making Net Profit on transfer windows and I believe till then we were heading in right direction..
