Liverpool’s young Spaniard Suso scored on his debut for the reserves against Newcastle United in a 2-2 draw. The 16 year old only signed a contract with the club last week after moving from Cadiz last season, but the youngster has already impressed reserves coach John McMahon:
“It was a great goal from Suso. He excites people and had a good first half but was disappointing in the second half when Newcastle got tighter to him.”
Althought the match finished as a draw, McMahon felt the team deserved all three points:
“I thought we were terrific and deserved all three points. I asked the lads for a good response from our previous game with Wigan and we got that. . . We showed a good attitude and application and worked hard. I’m disappointed for the lads because for their effort and the amount of chances we created they deserved the three points.”
Is he not portugese!!
Suso is the new Messi. you heard it here first!
yea is he not Portugese ???? WTF :S

Stan Howard >> Copy – Paste is meant for adult :p lol just kidding
No he is not portuguese its the other guy that was brought in with him, Iaia Embarlo. The deal for suso took half a year to complete cause i’m sure it was said in jan that we staved off the likes of barca to get him.
suso is good but he is not even the best 16 year old we have, wait till silva gets going, he is portugese. i watched england under 21 last night and we could put together an under 21 team that would beat then no problem
Promising youth!
